Troll Throttle

The Troll Throttle debuted on July 19th, 2018 and was the replacement of the Levelling system. Players who have not passed the troll throttle are given a play limit of 8 games, a green username to differentiate them from players who have passed the troll throttle, and can only play in bot games and Private Games. New players’ panels only need to be flagged twice for it to be removed, while players who have passed the troll throttle need their panels to be flagged 5 times for it to be removed.

There are 2 stages to the troll throttle, the first is to play in 16 completed public games which gives the player the ability to post in the forums and increases their play limit from 8 to 16 games, and then the final stage is passing the troll throttle, where the user has to play in 32 completed public games, which increases their play limit from 16 to 32 games, changes their username from green to blue, and allows them to create games and play in other players games. Passing the troll throttle also rewards the player with 50 ducks, for them to spend in The Art Store.

New players can bypass the troll throttle through purchasing ducks in The Duck store, which gives them the benefits given from passing the troll throttle, along with the benefits of becoming a supporter.

Once a player completes one of the stages, they receive a pop up message congratulating them.

In some point, the games you need to pass the troll throttle was decreased from 32 to 24.
